Taoro summerstake advantage of the exceptional climatic conditions of an island of eternal spring, great names in national drama, and a privileged natural environment, Parque de la Sortija, in the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, to start their own tradition of open-air theater . WithTaoro summerswe collect the tradition of events such as the Regent's Park Open Air Theater in London or Shakespeare in the Park in New York where, despite being completely outdoors, the theater has changing rooms for the technical and artistic cast or the makeup department .
One of the characteristics that will define this event will be its pedagogical vocation, the indisputable value of its interpreters, the indisputability as a work of value of the texts represented, and an effort to bring the quality of the spoken word closer to audiences further away from these contexts thanks to the diversity of the proposals that will truffle the programming of these three days of local culture.
The framework will promote the enjoyment of the afternoon and night to fill the brain not only with cognitive stimuli, but also with sensory and experiential ones.
The proposal is varied, not only in terms of culture and shows. Access to the park is free, so you will be welcome and welcome to be part of our festival community even if you decide to only access our gastronomic offer. And what do we offer you? A family atmosphere, calm, but at the same time fun, in which to savor a wide range ofstreet foodmore refined, such as hamburgers or gourmet dogs, without forgetting some vegan alternative, to cater for all kinds of sensibilities. There will be three food trucks, one for drinks, and a space to enjoy the light of the stars.

Laurel de Indias
Theater
A large Indian laurel will be the decoration of the main stage of Veranos del Taoro. Magic will be born around it that will allow us to experience unforgettable performances by great figures of national and international theater in a unique and unrepeatable space.
Arboleda
Cabaret
An unparalleled environment in the center of which there is a small stage. Garlands illuminating the half hundred bar tables, around which are the chairs in which to settle down to enjoy, drink in hand, the show. Grace, wit and melodies only suitable for restless minds looking for something more.

Dance and Circus
As close to the earth as the tabaibas that observe bodies in movement, three contemporary dance creations, one piece each day, will begin each day's programming. An invitation to reflection, like morning stretches, that opens the door to the rest of the evening.

The tabaibas dress the entire La Sortija Park and, specifically, this corner that completes our exhibition spaces. In this area different artistic disciplines will come together that the public will be able to enjoy for free.
